My Review of Shoot Your Best Shot a sport-inspired guide to living your best life by Vernon Brundage Jr. 

I wanted to get an inspirational book for three of my grandchildren who were graduating high school. I read the back of many books, reviews, the first pages, and settled on this one for those who love to play basketball and other sports.

I don’t give people books without reading them first, so I bought one, then happily purchased three for the grands. I hope they take the time to read it. It’s an easy read full of stories. Shoot Your Best Shot gives practical life lesson advice for any age. 

The writer did a great job to inspire with real life examples in all sorts of sports but especially basketball. There are stats and quotes from the GREATS even those outside the field of sports. This book is perfect to encourage those starting their lives and diving into any field. 

What I really appreciated was the way Mr. Brundage Jr. pointed to the Bible as the best place to learn. He said he wouldn’t be anything without the One who the Bible points. The Lord is his ultimate guide.

If you have a sport enthusiast in your life, give them this book. If you want to inspire the younger or middle or older generation, give them this book. I enjoyed the book and highly recommend it with 5*s.
