My 5* review of Uranium Downs by Jessica Bertrand
This young adult mystery took me back decades to when I roamed the halls of high school. Jessica Bertrand wrote intriguing, strong characters. The ASC sign language added a nice dimension and gave a fun and learning addition to the story. I love the grandpa and granddaughter dynamics. Also, the mystery enhanced and drew me in.
I loved the action from the first page on. I enjoyed the way the characters interacted with each other. I must admit I cried through chapter 42. So, my friend, get tissues ready.
Jessica, good job on your debut novella.
