My Review of Healing Seas by Christina Lorenzen
A Sweet Historical Romance
A sea captain, Frank Shae, and a governess, Adelaide
Mayfield, both experience terrible loss and trauma then meet in a small seaport.
The vivid pictures painted by Ms. Lorenzen of green sea grass, dunes, and ocean
are the beautiful backdrop for the story. A broken-down mess of a house out in
the middle of nowhere is the focus where a spark turns to love.
The elderly Aunt Tilly witnesses all the budding romance,
flushed faces, and secret smiles from the two innocent participants. No surprises
but a guarantee of what you’d expect in a sweet clean historical romance that
is well-written. 4.5 stars
