Echoes From the Past is the second in a series but I feel that it can be a standalone. I highly encourage you to read the first in the Almond Tree Series and those after this solid read. so you get the depth of the secondary characters as well.  June Foster paints a clear and vibrant word picture from start to finish. Many events bring Pastor Dave Reyes and Betty Ann Johnston together and a seed of love sprouts. Read as the story unfolds and develops as the characters learn to lean on the Lord for strength. Forgiveness and trust are keys to this story.
